Course Overview

This Level 1 program develops practical Power Automate skills through progressively structured business scenarios. Participants begin with core cloud-flow concepts and move into conditions, scheduling, JSON, data operations, arrays, data transfer, conflict validation and approvals. Dynamic Content and expressions are taught inside the flows where they are actually required, keeping the course practical and application-focused.

 

 Create automated, scheduled and business-triggered cloud flows.
 Use Dynamic Content and expressions to work with data produced by previous actions.
 Build decision logic using Conditions and Switch.
 Understand JSON output and extract structured values using Parse JSON.
 Use Compose, Select, Filter Array and Create HTML Table for data transformation.
 Work with arrays, grouping, filtering and structured data movement.
 Validate business rules before creating records or calendar bookings.
 Build a complete single-stage approval process with status tracking.

3. Case Study: Employee Leave Request + Dynamic Content

Capture requests using dynamic values
 Capture leave details from Microsoft Forms
 Create and update a SharePoint record
 Use Dynamic Content from previous flow actions.

4. Case Study: Daily Sales Report + Expressions

Scheduled reporting and expressions
 Run a flow on a recurring schedule
 Prepare a daily business summary
 Introduce expressions such as utcNow() and formatDateTime() in context.

5. Case Study: Pre-Meeting Reminder with Attachment
